Kristin Melino is currently the Principal of OpsConsult, LLC, an outsourced operations and operational due diligence consulting firm and supports Urban Standard Capital in overseeing its operations and compliance. Kristin Melino has over 28 years of financial services operations and compliance experience that includes both overseeing investment manager operations as well as evaluating the operations and compliance of hundreds of alternative investment managers across a wide variety of asset classes.

Prior to launching OpsConsult, LLC, Kristin was a Managing Director of Abide, an outsourced compliance and operations consulting firm. Prior to Abide, Kristin was Global Head of Operational Due Diligence for The Carne Group. Before that, Kristin was an Executive Director, Senior Operational Due Diligence Officer for UBS Hedge Fund Solutions (HFS) where she was responsible for conducting operational due diligence on current and prospective investments for internal fund-of-funds and advisory clients. Prior to joining UBS in 2013, she worked for Aksia LLC, a hedge fund consulting firm, as a member of their Operational Due Diligence team, also serving as a Director of that team (2007-2013). Before that, Kristin joined Shenkman Capital Management, Inc., a high-yield bond investment management firm as a Portfolio Administrator (1998-2005). During that time, she became Director of Operations for Shenkman and developed the operational infrastructure to facilitate a significant growth of assets. Previously, Kristin worked for Smith Barney as a Portfolio Associate for their large cap value product (1997-1998).

Kristin holds a B.A. from The State University of New York at Albany and an MBA from New York University.
