Austin Carlson is a senior real estate investment and capital markets professional with more than two decades of experience in private capital formation and investor relations. He currently serves as Managing Director of Capital Formation at Urban Standard Capital, where he leads the firm’s capital formation efforts and manages relationships with high-net-worth investors, family offices, and institutional partners.Previously, Austin served as Managing Director of Private Capital and Investor Relations at JPI, a nationally recognized multifamily developer and operator, where he led capital initiatives and expanded the firm’s investor base. Prior to JPI, he was Managing Director and Head of Sales and Investor Relations at Parkview Financial, focusing on capital raising, investor communications, and fund operations for the firm’s flagship real estate debt fund. Earlier in his career, Austin held senior sales and distribution roles at SkyBridge Capital, a New York–based hedge fund, and began his career at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, working in both New York City and Los Angeles.Austin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management, with a minor in Political Science from Oregon State University.
